the somewhat-grassy knoll

The new grass appears to be growing quickly and nicely. I mowed the new grass for the first time yesterday and it’s not dead today. That was my first sign of trouble with the last batch of grass I planted.

So today I plan to rip half of it up. Why? Not to be cruel of course. But half the yard still consists of weeds. Without those weeds, I would have had no green at all over these past years. So not that I know the new grass will grow, I will kill all the weeds I can and plant more grass.

Oh I can’t wait to see the results already.

   hehe… this is like a mini-adventure. Will the grass die or will it grow, spin the wheel and see where it goes.

   Good luck with the grass.
