I am talking long before there were even words of an App Store on our lips. I bought my iPod Touch for the very purpose of using some of the amazing apps I had seen advertised, as well as the fact that my first gen nano's battery was only holding charge for a few hours. I own the 3G and it's so good. I don't want to say that I couldn't live without it, but the app store has made me rely on my phone alot. I use it for everything and I really like how well it works. I can even dock it into my car and play music. It's definaty not the phone for everyone, but I think Apple are genuinely trying to make it as appealing as they can. Heck, it worked for me. lol.
